I found how to turn my cards and postcards vertical or landscape... Can I turn my poster image and canvas so I can sell a vertical poster -- that looks vertical on screen (obviously it technically is vertical)? http://www.zazzle.es/lake_titicaca_uros_girl_puno_peru_poster-228545944821845054Tracy

If you upload your graphic as vertical and design the poster by going to Images and selecting the graphic, then selecting to create a poster, it will automatically be vertical and fit to the image.
When I use the create menu/page to create a poster, then add the vertical graphic in the pop-up dialog box, it also automatically creates the poster as vertical. I'm not sure why it's not working for you. How are you creating them?
If you do get a landscape canvas for a vertical picture, just scroll down on the product page until you see 2. Choose your size and frame and click that. You can then use the Auto Size button to have Zazzle automatically make the canvas the same size as your graphic. You can then tweak the sizes from there as well.

I had used quick create.
I found what you described in the framing area and clicked "auto size" and that worked (after I rotated my image).
I've recreated it now and deleted the old.
