How do the pixel sizes of these work on Zazzle.Admired a panoramic pic at work today using 3 photos and I have been given the disc for the programme but don't want to load it if I cant use it here. The programme is Arcsoft panorama maker by panasonic. Thankyou

I've found that panoramic proportions work ok on some products, but not on others. For example, you can wrap a panoramic photo round a mug, or create a poster using auto size, but on something like a postcard you either have to crop the image (which kind of defeats the purpose of using a panoramic format), or be left with a lot of white space.
I make panoramas manually by overlapping photos on different layers and using layer masks, but if you've found a good program to do it automatically, I'd say install it anyway - it might be fun to use!

I don't think there'd be any problems with panoramic images on Zazzle, although obviously they will fit some products better than others. I suppose the main problem with piecing lots of images together into one long image is it could end up quite a large file, which could be a problem on some systems or with a slow connection. Of course one doesn't necessarily have to use each image at it's full original resolution. I suppose it depends what products one wants to put the panoramic images onto, but given one is going to end up with a fair amount of white space on products such as cards, postcards and mouse pads etc, one doesn't necessarily need the individual images to be of the highest resolution in terms of mega pixels In fact e.g. my old Olympus 960z 1.3 mp digital camera would be perfectly adequate for smaller panoramic images, because if the resulting images are going to be less than 3ins high even a 1.3mp camera is capable of producing panoramic images in excess of 300 dpi. So in theory one doesn't necessarily need a fantastic digital camera to produce panoramic images and even some relatively basic mobile phone cameras should produce perfectly good results

Regarding the white space mentioned that might be a problem on some things like postcards you could fill that space in with a complementary design, background color (other than white), or text.

Hi Jane, I am slowly, very slowly trying to teach myself photoshop to do things such as this I rely on video Tutes, there are many but having said that not all are geared for those like myself who are not used to the programme. Do you know of any tutorials to recommend on this? Thankyou

myshelle - your gray text on dark green background is almost impossible to read. You might want to change your settings.

OK - hot pink on dark green is an improvement - I now know there is text there. However, I can not read most of the text as the letters blur together. Maybe a lighter background with a darker print?

PS I burnt my scones while playing around with the colours, but hey all for a good cause LOL Thankyou
