I am completely new here and trying to get my shop set up. I would like to have a slide show of some of my work or the zazzle panel in the description at the top of my front page. I can embed the panel no problem but is there a way I can align the text so that it goes to the right of the panel rather than underneath it? I am about as good at html as I am at breathing underwater so any and all help will be gratefully received. Thanks!

those panels are NOT made to be used on zazzle!!!! they are under the associate affiliate marketing for a reason they are made to be used off zazzle to bring people to zazzle.
when you place it on your zazzle store it causes anyone on slow connections such as dial up or public wifi or a slow computer to freeze - your site will not load and they will leave your shop and zazzle.
i wish zazzle would put this in big red letter DO NOT PLACE THE FLASH PANEL IN YOUR STORE!!!
it WILL lose you customers!!!!!

Holy moley! That is great to know, thanks very much. It backs up the decision I had almost come to, that I won't have a slide show. I have been looking through other zazzle stores and I think that arranging your products well, on the front page is a much better way of catching peoples eye.
Thanks very much for your help!

I have now found the top picks show and am using that on my front page. It seems to be working fine and I like that I can change it to show whichever 3 products I want. A cool little gizmo I feel. As I spend more time looking at other peoples stores I notice that I tend to get a bit peeved if they have tons of stuff at the top and I have to scroll down for ages until I get to any products. I guess I can't be the only person that feels like this and I wonder if having this kind of long intro, loses people sales.

6-12 seconds... Once you stop and think about it that makes perfect sense. That is about as much time as I will give a front page. If it hasn't caught my attention by then, I am off. A great bit of advice, thanks so much shopoholicchick. You are fast becoming my font of all knowledge, lol.
I have some intro text on my front page and am now thinking that maybe I should remove some of it

you can move it to the about me page in your profile page - or make a section for it and put the text there if it is NEEDED...if it is not needed...just lose it LOL
clicking the blue www in my post you can access my tutorials....i have collected the information from other shopkeepers and experience over the last 5 years...
